This site is set up to aid the support and distribution of the CD "The Ballad of Cant and Bias" by Greg Fox.
The piece exists in a number of forms, and is most often given away with CD purchases on eBay as a means of getting it to a relevant audience, ie. people who buy modern music CDs, experimental jazz, do-it-yourself punk, john peel favourites, etc. etc.
The piece is designed to fit neatly onto an 80-minute audio CD. If your equipment is er, 'classic', and limits you to 74 minutes, it can be ruthlessly and brutally trimmed.
If you already know loads about the piece and just want a copy, you can order one from this site; it's essentially free, but obviously there's an admin charge - it costs around £1.20 to make, so a reasonable charge for the UK is £1.99 fully inclusive. If you're in the EU, it's £2.99 sterling and if you're anywhere else in the world it's £3.49 sterling. The most logical means of payment when I set up the site was 'Paypal', and if you have any concerns about getting what you pay for, feel free to go via my eBay account instead of direct through the site - I'm on there as Gregskius and you can just message me through there, or simply buy one of my CDs if I'm selling, then you get "The Ballad of Cant and Bias" for free anyway.
For people who don't know what it is, it's a CD full of the most horrendous noises you're likely to encounter.
There's a description of the three-movement version here in rich text format, which I'd imagine pretty much all word processors can read, and it can't carry viruses, unlike some of the common proprietary formats.
